Medieval & Renaissance Fashion
The years 1100-1450 defined the Medieval Era, a time when the style of dress was more pious and conservative, which ended at the mid-point of the 1400's and began the Renaissance Era, which led to many wonderful and eye-catching changes in fashion.
The Renaissance was a period in European history, from the 14th to the 17th century, regarded as the cultural bridge between the Middle Ages and modern history.
The Tudor period is the period between 1485 and 1603 in England and Wales and includes the Elizabethan period which ends with the completion of the reign of Elizabeth I in 1603. The Tudor period coincides with the dynasty of the House of Tudor in England whose first monarch was Henry VII (1457–1509). (Wikipedia)
